Here's a List of HILARIOUS and INSANE Banned Baby Names
Just imagine if some of the insane and hilarious
names would be banned in India, what would happen. Suppose the names like
Totaram, Ramu and Shaalu will be banned, how the people will react. And those
who are still living their life with such names, how would they feel? It may
sound awkward to you but this interesting incident has happened in US.
Sonora, a city in Mexican state has now banned 159
names. However, these names are banned for the newborns. Now parents won’t be
able to choose any of these 159 names for their newborns. But there is
something more surprising to that.
While checking the statistics, it was found that
all of these banned names have been registered at least once. It means that
these names were already taken by some parents for their newborn babies. It has
been a regular practice in Sonora to keep the baby names like Panties and
Rambo.
Some other names that are included in the list of
159 banned names are Circumcision, Martian, Panties, Facebook, Lady Di and
Rambo. You can say that people had basically a habit of naming anything which
is fun for their babies. Well, if we would have been forced to keep such names
and considering present situation if these same names were to be banned then,
you can imagine it.
Take a yawn and relax as this is not the story here
in India. The number of names can be soon increased as some more name
registries are being checked by the government officials and they can come up
with anything.
This law of banning offensive or odd names will be
effective from today only. According to Cristina Ramirez, the director of Civil
Registry of Sonora, this step has been taken to avoid the bullying of such
children who are named like this.
She said to the media in her statement that such
derogatory names or the one which don’t have any meaning can lead to a bullying
situation for the children so we have made a clear law to prohibit this
practice. In her report she has mentioned that recently some babies were named
as ‘Lady Di’, ‘Juan Panties’ and ‘Juan Calzon’.
